The Role : Software EngineerWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of professional experience and a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software. This role is crucial for our team's success, as you will not only be a key contributor to our codebase but also a technical leader and a mentor to junior engineers.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the design, development, and deployment of new features and services across our platform.- Write clean, well-documented, and highly scalable code that adheres to best practices.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and execute project requirements.- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and careers.- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions, helping to shape the future of our product.- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues and bugs in production and development environments.- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our tech stack remains modern and efficient.Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.- 4-7 years of professional experience in software development.- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, Ruby).- Demonstrated experience with a relevant framework or library (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, Flask).- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex tasks.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.- Previous experience in a technical leadership or mentoring role (ref:hirist.tech)
