Job Description

As a Security Presales Engineer, you will play an important role in driving sales and technical strategy for our comprehensive security solutions portfolio, including SASE, Firewall, EDR, DLP, Proxy etc. You will collaborate closely with Internal and OEM sales teams and customers to understand their unique security needs, identify appropriate solutions, and deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth assessments of customer environments to identify security gaps, risks, and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Design: Design personalized security solutions that leverage our expertise in SASE, Firewall, EDR, DLP, and Proxy technologies.
  • Technical Presentations: Deliver engaging technical presentations to prospective customers, highlighting the benefits and value propositions of our security solutions.
  • Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Conduct PoCs to demonstrate the capabilities of our solutions and address customer concerns.
  • RFP/RFI Responses: Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Competitive Analysis: Research and analyze competitor offerings to identify differentiators and positioning strategies.
  • Technical Training: Provide technical training to sales teams and customers on our security products and solutions.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Assist sales teams with technical questions and provide pre-sales support during the sales cycle.
  • Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery.


Required Skills and Qualifications: 4-7 years of Experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of security technologies, including SASE, Firewall, EDR, DLP, and Proxy solutions.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex security architectures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of industry certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA is preferred.


Additional Skills (Desirable):

  • Experience with specific security vendors or technologies (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft).
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks like DPDPDA, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
  • Experience with cloud security solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
