Overview:
We are looking for a highly driven Mid-Level / Senior Account Manager with a strong focus on business development within the US staffing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hunting new business opportunities and bringing in their client relationships. While you will have the support of our team, this role requires a proactive approach to creating and expanding new accounts, including re-engaging dormant clients. You will have ownership of the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to successful staffing placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the staffing industry, with a focus on generating revenue from new clients.
- Leverage existing relationships to bring business to the company and expand the client portfolio.
- Re-engage dormant clients and develop strategies to reinvigorate these accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to ensure successful candidate placements that meet the client’s unique requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive long-term business growth.
- Drive business development activities, including cold calling, networking, and lead generation to meet sales targets.
- Take full ownership of client-specific sales cycles, negotiate contracts and ensure the successful delivery of services.
- Provide industry insights and market trends to help guide strategy and decision-making in client acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- With 8+ years of experience in Account Management or Business Development in the staffing industry, they focused on direct sales and client acquisition.
- We have a proven track record of bringing in new clients and generating revenue in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in recruiting or managing staffing requirements is highly advantageous.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- A self-starter mentality with the drive to seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on consultative sales.
- Ability to manage and grow accounts, with a strategic approach to business development.
- Experience with CRM and sales tracking tools.
- High-level understanding of staffing solutions and client needs within a VMO/MSP environment.
