Application Developer(Jira / Atlassian Tools) Location:Bengaluru Employment Type:Full-time Experience Level:4-5 years About the Role We are seeking an experiencedApplication Developerwith strong expertise inAtlassian tools , particularlyJira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket . In this role, you will design, customize, and optimize Jira workflows, automation, and integrations to support our Agile and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintainJira Software ,Jira Service Management ,Confluence , andBitbucket . Create and manageprojects, workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, permissions, and notification schemes . Builddashboards, reports, and SLA metricsfor management and operational teams. SupportAgile (Scrum/Kanban)andITSM (Incident, Problem, Change)processes. Provideend-user support, training, and documentation . UseGroovy scripting with ScriptRunnerto create customvalidators, listeners, and post functions . Develop and manageREST API integrationswith third-party tools. PerformJira/Confluence upgrades , plugin compatibility checks, andmigrations(Server → Data Center / Cloud). Required Skills & Qualifications 4-5 years of experience as aJira Administrator ,Atlassian Engineer , orJira Developer . Hands-on experience withScriptRunner ,Groovy scripting , andJira REST APIs . Strong understanding ofJira workflows, permissions, and automation rules . Experience inJira upgrades ,migrations , andplugin management . Familiarity withAgile methodologiesandITSM frameworks (ITIL preferred) . Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience withBitbucket ,Bamboo , orother Atlassian tools . Knowledge ofSQLandLinux-based environments . Experience withAtlassian Cloud administration . Atlassian certifications (ACP-120, ACP-620, etc.) are a plus.
