Working Shift;06:30 AM to 03:00 PM (Female) & 03:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Male) [ Team Leaders are expected with flexible working shift. ]Role & responsibilities Prepare and fileUS Sales and Use Tax returnsfor multiple states and jurisdictions on a monthly/quarterly basis. Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accurategeneral ledger postingsfor indirect taxes. Analyze tax data from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and assist intax accruals . Respond to tax notices and coordinate withstate/local tax authoritiesto resolve discrepancies. Conducttax researchon sales/use tax laws and provide support on taxability determinations. Assist withsales tax exemption certificate managementand customer/vendor validations. Support external and internalaudit requestsrelated to indirect taxes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correcttax treatment on transactions . Recommend process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of tax compliance. Stay updated withchanges in tax legislationand assess their impact on business operations. Comfortable proposing and writing process changes with supporting documentation. Expert in managing tax deadlines. Ensuring timely and accurate filing of sales tax returnsPreferred candidate profile Excellent communication to enable performing above role A sales tax specific resource with sales tax experience. Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, or related field . 2- 3 years of experience for specialist and 5+ years of experience for team leader inUS Sales and Use Tax(industry or public accounting). Familiarity withsales tax compliance software(e.g., Vertex, Avalara, Sovos) is a plus. Expert in Quick Book online. Minimum expertise of at least 3 years small business United States state and local sales, use, and other pass-through tax filings.
