This role will contribute to shaping the next generation of EV propulsion and energy storage systems while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performance solutions.Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end development ofDC-DC converters, onboard chargers (OBC), inverters, and BMS interfaces Definesystem architecture and component specificationsfor high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems Collaborate withmechanical, thermal, and systems engineering teamsfor integration Simulation, modelling, and analysis of power electronics circuits usingPLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice GuidePCB layoutfor high-power designs ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management Drivevalidation and testingof prototypes in lab and vehicle environments Evaluate and select components such asIGBTs, SiC/GaN FETs, gate drivers, magnetics, and capacitors Ensure compliance withautomotive standardssuch as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety Mentor junior engineers and contribute totechnical reviews and design documentation Managerequirements, system integration, test strategy, and issue resolution Document system requirements and specifications with traceable test cases for smooth validationRequired Skills & Experience 3+ years inHV Systems Engineering, BMS design, or related Power Electronics roles Expertise invehicle system interfaces and integration Experience inHV Product Development for EVs , system engineering, and understanding ofproduct/software development life cycle Hands-on experience inCAN tools(CANalyzer, CANoe, DET) is an advantage Familiarity withrequirements management tools(DOORS, SYSML/UML, Mantis, CodeBeamer) Strong understanding ofhigh-voltage systems, safety protocols, thermal management, and electrical system integration Leadership, initiative, and excellent problem-solving skills Degree inElectrical/Electronic Engineeringor equivalent disciplineApply Now – Send your resume to: Shital.jakkulwar@tatatechnologies.com Include in your application: Total & Relevant Experience Current & Preferred Location Current CTC & Expected CTC Notice Period ( Immediate to 30 days preferred ) Last Working Day (if serving / already left) Reason for any recent career gaps
