Technical LeadershipLead theend-to-end design and developmentof advancedGaN-based fast chargersandLi-Ion UPS systems , setting the technical direction and driving engineering excellence. Collaborate closely withindustrial designers ,technology partners , and thequality assurance teamto translate concept into manufacturable, high-reliability products. Establish and enforcebest practices in power electronics design , ensuring compliance withsafety, EMI/EMC, and reliability standardsacross all product lines. 2.Design & DevelopmentArchitecthigh-efficiency, high-frequency converter topologies— includingresonant, quasi-resonant, and soft-switching designsoptimised for GaN and SiC devices. Own theschematic design, PCB layout, magnetics design , andthermal managementof compact, high-power-density systems. Perform detailedSPICE simulations, thermal and EMI analyses , anddesign validationthrough both modelling and empirical testing. Be deeply hands-on from breadboarding and soldering tooscilloscope debugging ,firmware interface testing , andsystem-level performance tuning . 3.Collaboration with Industry LeadersPartner withTI, Infineon, Navitas, and STMicroelectronicsto leverage next-generationGaN and SiC platforms , reference designs, and control architectures. Continuously explore new technologies indigital control, magnetics, and thermal designto keep Cuzor products at the forefront of innovation. 4.Innovation & Problem SolvingDriveoriginal design innovation— developing proprietary topologies and control techniques to achieveultra-high efficiencyandultra-low standby power . Lead efforts toanalyse, debug, and resolvecomplex issues related toswitching noise, EMI/EMC, transient response , andthermal bottlenecks . Contribute toIP generation , documentation, and long-term technical differentiation of Cuzor’s products.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in power electronics design Proven expertise in high-efficiency AC-DC and DC-DC converter design, including resonant converters and LLC topologies. Proficiency in design software, Altium Strong understanding of wide-bandgap semiconductors (GaN, SiC) and their applications in power electronics. Extensive experience in EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and power density optimisation. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external partners. Must be hands-on with all aspects of power electronics design, testing, and debugging.Preferred Qualifications Experience in designing GaN-based products for industrial or consumer applications. Hands-on experience in using Altium Familiarity with global standards and certifications (e.g., UL, CE). Experience in thermal simulations and reliability testing of GaN-based systems.
