Job Title: Storage Engineer – Hitachi (L2) Experience:5+ years Location:Mumbai Client:NSE (National Stock Exchange) Payroll:TECEZE Employment Type:Full-time Shift:Rotational Weekly Off:Depending on workload Joining Timeline:ImmediateRole Overview: Seeking aHitachi L2 Storage Engineer (5+ years)to managemission-critical storage infrastructurein aregulated, low-latency financial environment . The role focuses onday-to-day operations, performance monitoring, and issue resolutionfor trading and enterprise applications.Key Responsibilities: Manage and supportHitachi storage systems (VSP, VSP G Series, HUS/AMS)inprimary DC and DR sites . PerformL2 operationsincludingvolume management, LUN provisioning, masking, replication setup (TrueCopy, ShadowImage) . Monitor storage health, performance, andresolve L2 faults under strict SLAs . Collaborate withserver, network, and application teamsfor seamless storage integration. Participate inbackup, replication, and DR testingto ensure high availability. MaintainSOPs, runbooks, and audit-ready documentationfor compliance. Assist instorage patching, firmware upgrades, and minor configuration changes .Technical Requirements: 5+ yearshands-on experience withHitachi storage arrays (VSP / AMS / HUS) . Strong understanding ofLUN provisioning, masking, zoning, replication, and snapshots . Experience withHitachi Device Manager / Command Suite / Hitachi Storage Navigator . Knowledge ofSAN/NAS protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS) . Familiarity withfinancial trading/BFSI environments or regulated DCs . Exposure toITIL-based incident/change management .Preferred Certifications: Hitachi Certified Storage Administrator (HCSA) ITIL Foundation
