Overview:

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement customized solutions, optimize website performance, and ensure security and scalability.


Responsibilities:

Website Development:

  • Design, develop, and manage WordPress websites with custom themes and plugins.
  • Translate wireframes and design mockups into responsive and functional web pages.

Customization and Integration:

  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance website functionality.

Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Testing and Maintenance:

  • Debug and troubleshoot WordPress issues, ensuring smooth functionality.
  • Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins for security and compatibility.

Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers.
  • Document processes, configurations, and custom code for easy reference.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core functionalities.
  • Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Experience in News/Blogs Websites and WooCommerce or shopify
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for customization.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with WordPress security best practices and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of website optimization techniques for SEO and speed.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in WooCommerce development and customization.
  • Familiarity with WordPress Multisite and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with backup and migration tools.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards for WordPress sites.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects and solutions.
