Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases. Lead efforts in identifying test automation opportunities and implementing solutions to improve test coverage and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation and application defects. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, including TDD/BDD methodologies. Explore and integrate AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance QA automation capabilities. Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.Expertise You'll Bring:Minimum 6+ years in software engineering or test automation roles. Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, JUnit, etc. Hands-on experience in the video streaming domain with technologies like DASH, HLS, MPEG-4, WideVine, FairPlay. Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go. Deep understanding of REST APIs, HTML5, CSS, and web fundamentals. Familiarity with TDD/BDD paradigms and AI for QA automation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and databases. Passion for leveraging automation to improve product quality and development velocity. Proven experience working on large-scale web applications hosted on cloud platforms. Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams.
