The Service Reporting Analyst will be responsible for service performance analytics and reporting, including assessing and building reports on detailed performance of IT service performance, as well as leveraging critical analysis of service performance data as an enablement for informed business decisions to be made. The Service Reporting Analyst will report directly to the Service Reporting Manager and will have responsibilities including the creation of service level insight reports and PowerBI dashboards. As well as management and maintenance of database systems, covering data integration, automation and integrity.


What you'll be doing:

  • Building BI reports and dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Conducting critical analysis of service level reporting/performance data, and challenge results where appropriate.
  • Taking ownership of reports/dashboards, investigating reporting related issues, and delivery solutions.
  • Managing and maintaining database systems, covering data integration, automation and integrity.
  • Analysing and monitoring reporting systems usage, ensure issues are flag and resolved.
  • Training end users on the basic Power BI functions.
  • Creating detail documentations of work instructions/flows.
  • Ad-hoc reporting relating activities.


What you'll need:

  • Strong analytical capabilities – ability to review raw data to identify patterns and meaningful interpretation.
  • Understanding of IT service delivery data, and the ability to critically analyse and interpret service data to challenge as appropriate.
  • Presentation and Communication skills – ability to leverage written communications (i.e - Emails) to communicate and understand stakeholder reporting requirements, as well as present completed reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with the collection, analysis and reporting of service performance data.
  • Understanding and experience in data modelling, data structures and data cleansing.
  • Experienced in the usage of SQL & DAX languages.
  • Strong understanding of PowerPivot, Power Query and PowerBI.
  • Experienced with the usage of SSMS, SSIS and Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge on scripting (PowerShell & Batch).
  • Knowledge of Service-Now, Microsoft Flow, PowerApps would be beneficial, although not essential.
  • Experienced in the usage of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Strong team player.
  • Good organisation skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes
