We have recently been recognized with a nomination for the IFMA New York Awards of Excellence in the Sustainability category, underscoring their achievements in fostering adaptive, efficient, and sustainable work environments.About Role:Scrum master will be member of an agile team that has adopted scrum principles and takes on a leadership role involving the management, advocacy, orchestration and support of scrum theory, values, events and artifacts.This is a servant leadership role working with one or more scrum teams within or across products to maximize the value created by team. You will work in a cross-functional team of product owners, software developers & testers.Your responsibilities as a Scrum Master:• Implementing and continuously improving the way of working in the Scrum Team.• Promoting agile values, principles, practices, and methods to establish a sustainable understanding of agile.• Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.• Shielding the Scrum Team from undesired interruptions and creating a trusting, collaborative environment.• Organizing and facilitating agile events while ensuring that common agile rules are followed.• Being a servant leader, sparring partner, conflict resolver and coach to the Scrum Team.• Supporting the Product Owner to effectively manage the Product Backlog to maximize value.• Supporting the Development Team to work self-organized and self-directed.• Proactively help teams to identify and remove impediments to their progress.• Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.• Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.• Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.• Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.• Participating in our agile community of practice to share knowledge and continuously learn from othersSkill sets we require:• Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency, and servant leadership.• Knowledge of agile approaches – Scrum, Kanban, XP, Scaled Agile, etc.• Knowledge and experience with agile techniques – automated testing, user stories, TDD, continuous integration, testing, pairing, agile games, etc.• Recognized certification as Scrum Master (e.g. Scrum Alliance CSM).• Very good interpersonal and communication skills.• Good technical skills in JIRA and Confluence.• Fluency in speaking and writing in English.• Ability to orchestrate across multiple agile teams.• Hands-on and results-driven mentality.• Experience with distributed teams and virtual collaboration.Behaviours and Mindset:• See projects through from conception into production and support, ensuring quality throughout.• Be an advocate for high data quality standards.
