API Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities :- Design and implement test automation frameworks for API (backend) and UI (frontend).- Strong hands-on experience with Karate Framework, Selenium, and RESTful services (or equivalent tools).- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on modern microservices-based architectures.- Automate test cases using BDD and Cucumber frameworks.- Backend API testing using REST Assured, Postman, SOAP, and DB testing.- Front-end UI automation using Java Selenium or Protractor.- Build, maintain, and enhance automation test suites for both API and UI.- Work in AWS Cloud Environments (EC2, Lambda, Bastion Host, VPC, etc.).- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for seamless CI/CD integration.- Use of SoapUI, SQL/DB, and good understanding of VM and Alma Linux We're Looking For :- Karate Framework / REST Assured / Postman / SoapUI- Java / Selenium / Protractor / Cucumber (BDD)- AWS (EC2, Lambda, VPC, Bastion Host)- SQL / DB / Basic Linux (Alma Linux)- Strong experience in manual + automation testing (UI + API) (ref:hirist.tech)
