Cloud Cybersecurity Specialist

Description

CYIENT Global Cyber Security is looking for a Cloud Security Architecture and Monitoring Specialist , with hands-on experience with key cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, Azure and Identity Management, CASB along with Incident Monitoring and Response ; who will be responsible for securing the organization's hybrid IT environment, including both on-premise and cloud infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Design and implement cloud security architecture in GCP, AWS, and Azure

2. Monitor cloud environment for security threats and integrate with incident response

3. Implement identity management and access control policies through research and POV contributions

4. Secure cloud data and applications using CASB solutions

5. Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and implement appropriate security measures

6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

7. Respond to security incidents and participate in incident response

8. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure cloud systems

9. Provide security training and guidance to team members

10. Evaluate and participate in improvements to security processes and technologies

11. Conduct Threat modeling, secure architecture reviews, and implement secure-by-design zero trust principles

12. Demonstrate expertise in network security fundamentals, network security attacks and secure network architecture.

Qualifications:

·University/College degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, or 8+ years of relevant work experience.

·Certifications such as CCSP / CCSK / Cloud security certifications by AWS , Microsoft , Google in conjunction with CISSP / CISA or equivalent would be highly desirable

·5+ years of relevant experience in software security, including cloud platforms and models (IAAS, PAAS & SAAS ) – Having security proficiency in MLaaS and other Serverless technologies will be a valuable asset.

·Background in infrastructure security, SDLC, and secure SaaS practices, including experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation.

·Direct architecture experience with AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and GCP.

·Knowledge of risk assessment, management, and threat monitoring.

·Expertise in security review processes, data protection, cryptography, IAM within cloud environments, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.

·Experience with cloud-based service-oriented architecture, security and governance tools, network administration security, and enterprise applications.

·Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, hands-on technical abilities, and critical thinking skills.

·Knowledge of identity-centric management and authentication protocols, including Active Directory.

·Experience in threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications for new technologies.

·Familiarity with Linux, Unix, Windows OS, various network architecture, and security configurations. Fundamentals of Security hardening and monitoring are must.

·Ability to multitask and manage numerous interdependent tasks with accuracy.

·Proven ability to work independently and effectively, as well as in larger cross-functional teams.
