Job title: Content Manager

About the Digital Business Unit at IndusInd:

The mandate of the Digital Business Unit at IndusInd Bank is as follows:

- Building customer centric products with human centered design principles for retail Individual and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) customer segments

- Build innovative products and propositions backed with problem solving mindset to discover and solve latent needs of customers

- Build Embedded Finance (Banking as a Service) applications

- Ensure designs are highly available, highly modular, highly scalable and highly secure

- Drive digital business

- Some of the applications managed by the Digital Business Unit include IndusMobile (bank's mobile app for retail individual clients), Indusnet (net banking application of the bank), IndusMerchantSolutions app, Whatsapp Banking, Chatbots, easycredit for Individuals, easycredit for Business Owners, savings, current account and fixed deposit online platforms. There are many more innovative digital products and solutions in pipeline

- The unit's objectives are three fold - (a) Drive better customer experience and engagement (b) transform existing lines of businesses and (c) build new digital only or banking as a service led digital business models

About the Role:

- We are seeking an experienced and driven Content Manager to join our marketing team.


- The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the digital space, brand building and social media platforms, excellent copywriting skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective content strategies that drive business results.


- The role requires someone who can crack complex concepts, create compelling content, and convey the brand's message across different digital and on-ground platforms.


- The role will give exposure to various banking and fintech products and features such as INDIE App, Savings Account, Personal Loans, Credit Cards among others.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop impactful content strategies that align with the brand's overall marketing objectives

- Write meaningful copies as per business need for growth teams and for brand

- Manage INDIE social media handles, increase follower base and create content

- Analyze and demonstrate the impact of campaigns in business growth

- Ability to work with various stakeholders such as marketing, growth, performance, design, analytics team to drive the content strategy.

- Manage multiple agencies

- Manage brand operations for all the brand related tasks

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, growth and partnerships

- Conduct market research, analyze data trends, and identify opportunities to maximize brand exposure and engagement

- Write and edit content across a variety of formats, including social media posts, blog articles, videos, infographics, website content and email, newsletters, Push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp etc.

- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone

- Manage timelines and budgets for campaigns, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget

- Monitor, report, and analyze the impact of content campaigns to optimize future performance.

- Understanding of necessary creative guidelines by Google and Meta channels and creating content around the same

Education, Work Experience, Key Skill Set Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree/MBA in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

- 3 yrs.+ proven experience in content marketing, with a focus on brand storytelling, developing and executing content strategies.

- Solid understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write compelling and engaging content for various audiences.

- Ability to think critically and creatively, with outstanding strategic thinking skills.

- Excellent project management skills, with proven experience in managing timelines and budgets for multiple projects.

- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

- Analytical approach to problem solving.
