Its footprint gives scale to projects and talents.Innovation is part of our DNA and our diverse community of experts keeps anticipating the evolution of commerce worldwide.We are shaping the future of payments.Find out more about our exciting, multicultural and learning work environment here.The Opportunity :We are seeking a highly experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of automated tests for our web, SQL, REST, and SOAP-based financial systems.The ideal candidate will work closely with the Automation Test Lead to define and implement a new test automation tech stack and strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable software solutions.Location : PuneExperience : 7 to 10 yearsDay-to-Day Responsibilities :- Collaborate with the Automation Test Lead to develop and implement a new test automation tech stack and strategy for our financial systems.- Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts for web, SQL, REST Assured, and SOAP-based applications.- Integrate automated tests into the software development lifecycle and continuous integration processes.- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough test coverage and high-quality software solutions.- Identify, analyse, and report on test results, defects, and trends to drive improvements in the software development process.- Continuously research and stay current on the latest trends and advancements in test automation technology and best practices.- Train and mentor team members in test automation techniques and tools.Essential & Technical Competencies :- Hands-on knowledge of Linux or Unix scripting.- Hands-on knowledge of BDD Cucumber Framework/Python OR JAVA.- Hands-on knowledge Jenkins.- Hands-on knowledge Selenium WebDriver Automation.- Hands-on of API testing techniques Rest Api automation using Rest Assured SonarQube experience desirable.- Git (Version Control) Analyse results of tests and to be able to update existing test suits after API changes.- Basic Knowledge about CI/CD Concepts.- Usage of Postman or JMeter tool to modify requests to validate multiple outputs on scenarios.- Exposure to UI Automation, Selenium, JAVA Rest Assured, TestNG.- Experience using at least one defect management tool JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc.- Experience with Payments domain (good to have).Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in test automation with a focus on web, SQL, REST, and SOAP-based systems.- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities.- Familiarity with various software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.- Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.Why Join Us?At Worldline, we believe that embracing diversity and promoting inclusion drive innovation and success.We foster a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to bring their authentic selves.Through extensive training, mentorship, and development programs, we support your growth and help you make a meaningful impact.Join a global team of passionate professionals shaping the future of payments technologywhere your ideas, experiences, and perspectives are appreciated and celebrated.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and childbirth), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, or any other legally protected characteristics.
