About the Role :


Encora is searching for a talented GIS Developer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement innovative geospatial solutions using industry-leading technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and experience building web-based GIS applications.


Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and implement GIS applications using ESRI's ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise)


- Develop user-friendly and interactive web mapping applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js


- Create compelling data visualizations and effectively represent geospatial data


- Perform spatial analysis and manipulate geospatial data


- Develop custom tools and scripts using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages


- Work with various geospatial data formats (shapefiles, GeoJSON, WMS, WFS)


- Ensure user interface design adheres to best practices for usability and accessibility


- Collaborate with team members including designers, developers, and stakeholders


Qualifications :


- Extensive knowledge and experience with ESRI's ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise)


- Proficiency in web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with web mapping frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js a plus)


- Strong understanding of GIS concepts, data models, geodatabases, and spatial analysis


- Experience with geospatial data formats (shapefiles, GeoJSON, WMS, WFS)


- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and ArcGIS API for JavaScript


- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices for accessibility


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
