Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Service Mapping Specialist with strong expertise in Service Mapping concepts, Discovery processes, and ServiceNow administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting service maps to provide clear visibility into IT infrastructure and application dependencies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain service maps using ServiceNow Service Mapping.

- Analyze and interpret end-to-end service maps to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Configure entry points, CI relationships, and dependencies within ServiceNow.

- Identify and fulfill prerequisites for Discovery and Service Mapping activities.

- Configure and manage MID Servers, including network access validations.

- Run Discovery probes and sensors, validate results, and map services accurately.

- Modify or create custom discovery patterns to enhance service identification.

- Troubleshoot errors in service mapping processes and outputs, implementing corrective measures.

- Apply best practices and performance tuning techniques for optimal service mapping.

- Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure proper mapping alignment.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping.

- Strong understanding of Service Mapping architecture, Discovery, and CMDB.

- Proven experience in configuring entry points, CIs, and relationships.

- Proficiency in MID Server configurations and Strong knowledge of Discovery probes, sensors, and dependency mapping.

- Ability to modify/create Discovery patterns for tailored service identification.

- Problem-solving skills with experience in error remediation for Service Mapping.

- Familiarity with industry best practices for Service Mapping and Discovery optimization.
