About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the development of our AI-powered solutions. In this role, you'll lead a team of engineers while maintaining hands-on involvement in architecture and development, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI technologies and scalable software solutions.


Compensation

30k-40k$ Yearly + Stocks Options.


Core ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership

  • Architect and lead the development of scalable AI/ML systems and supporting infrastructure
  • Make critical technical decisions regarding system architecture, technology stack, and development practices
  • Design and implement robust APIs and services that integrate with ML models
  • Lead code reviews and ensure code quality through best practices and testing protocols
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, focusing on latency, throughput, and resource utilization

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 software engineers
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and ML teams to define technical requirements
  • Establish engineering processes and best practices for the team
  • Participate in hiring and growing the engineering team

Project Management

  • Transform product requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans
  • Manage project timelines and technical deliverables
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development cycle
  • Balance technical debt with feature delivery
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on technical progress and challenges

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role
  • Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Proven track record of leading successful technical projects from conception to production
  • Extensive experience with one or more modern programming languages (Node JS, Next JS, Java, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, and API design
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and system design
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with ML/AI systems in production environments
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ML deployment practices
  • Understanding of ML operations (MLOps) and model serving architectures
  • Experience with real-time processing systems and streaming architectures
  • Knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance requirements for AI systems
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field

Technical Skills

  • Programming Languages: Node JS, Next JS, Java, or similar
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
  • ML/AI Tools: TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow (preferred)
  • Development Tools: Git, JIRA, CI/CD tools
  • Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
