Job Description :

Role : Android Systems Engineer

Experience : 5 to 8 years experience in software development.

Successful track record and experience in developing & maintaining software systems Skills :

- Problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues to take ownership and strive for the best solutions.

- Using performance analysis tools, such as Android Profiler, Traceview, perfetto, and Systrace etc.

- Strong understanding of Android architecture, memory management, and threading.

- Strong understanding of Android HALs, Car Framework, Android graphics pipeline, DRM, Codecs.

- Good knowledge in Hardware abstraction layers in Android and/or Linux.

- Good understanding of the git, CI/CD workflow.

- Experience in agile based projects with Linux as a development platform and target.

- Experience with Jenkins and Gitlab CI systems.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Grafana, Prometheus and/or Elastic search with different testing frameworks and their implementation in CI system.

- Programming using C/C++, Java/Kotlin, Linux and its use in CI Environments with ASPICE.

Job Responsibilities :

- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.

- Perform root cause analysis for problems on production platform.

- Build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

- The best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

- Documentation of High-Level, Low-Level design, Source code and Unit Tests.

- Communication with partners, suppliers and within the team.
