Job Description :

Role : Android Systems Engineer

Experience : 5 to 8 years experience in software development.

Successful track record and experience in developing & maintaining software systems Skills :

Problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues to take ownership and strive for the best solutions.

Using performance analysis tools, such as Android Profiler, Traceview, perfetto, and Systrace etc.

Strong understanding of Android architecture, memory management, and threading.

Strong understanding of Android HALs, Car Framework, Android graphics pipeline, DRM, Codecs.

Good knowledge in Hardware abstraction layers in Android and/or Linux.

Good understanding of the git, CI/CD workflow.

Experience in agile based projects with Linux as a development platform and target.

Experience with Jenkins and Gitlab CI systems.

Desired Skills :

Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Grafana, Prometheus and/or Elastic search with different testing frameworks and their implementation in CI system.

Programming using C/C++, Java/Kotlin, Linux and its use in CI Environments with ASPICE.

Job Responsibilities :

Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.

Perform root cause analysis for problems on production platform.

Build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

The best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Documentation of High-Level, Low-Level design, Source code and Unit Tests.

Communication with partners, suppliers and within the team.
