Key Responsibilities :

NAC System Implementation and Configuration :

- Deploy and configure NAC solutions, including hardware and software components.

- Integrate NAC with existing network infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, switches, routers).

- Ensure NAC systems are properly configured to meet security requirements and business needs.

Policy Management :

- Develop, implement, and enforce NAC policies to control network access based on user roles, device types, and security posture.

- Manage policy lifecycle, including creation, modification, and deletion.

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and security standards.

Device Profiling and Visibility :

- Identify and categorize devices connecting to the network.

- Monitor network traffic and activity to detect unauthorized access attempts and security incidents.

- Provide visibility into network status, performance, and security posture.

Posture Assessment and Remediation :

- Assess the security posture of devices connecting to the network.

- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.

- Quarantine or block non-compliant devices from accessing the network.

Security Incident Response :

- Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities related to network access.

- Collaborate with other security teams to investigate and resolve security issues.

Documentation and Training :

- Document NAC configurations, policies, and procedures.

- Train users and IT staff on NAC policies and procedures.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization :

- Monitor the performance of NAC systems and identify areas for improvement.

- Optimize NAC configurations to ensure efficient and reliable network access.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with other IT teams, such as network, security, and systems administration, to ensure seamless integration and operation of NAC systems.

- Communicate NAC policies and procedures to users and stakeholders.
