Job Description :


- The role of a Selenium Automation Tester is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through automated testing processes.


- With hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Testing, the ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in Java programming language and demonstrates proficiency in utilizing Selenium tools for testing web applications.

- A key requirement for this role is a comprehensive understanding of Rest Assured, as the candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing API testing within the automation framework.


- Additionally, involvement in Selenium Environment Setup is essential to ensure the smooth functioning of the testing environment and infrastructure.

- The Selenium Automation Tester is tasked with creating, organizing, and managing Test Automation Resources efficiently.


- This includes developing, enhancing, debugging, and running test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software applications. Moreover, the candidate will play a vital role in organizing and monitoring the defect management process, ensuring that identified issues are properly documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.


- As part of their responsibilities, the Selenium Automation Tester will be involved in handling changes and conducting Regression Testing to verify that modifications or updates to the software do not adversely impact existing functionalities.


- They must possess the skills to identify and address Object Identification issues and error handling issues to maintain the robustness and reliability of the automation framework.

- Effective communication and collaboration are essential aspects of this role, as the Selenium Automation Tester will be required to coordinate with Test team members and Development team counterparts to address issues and ensure alignment between testing efforts and development activities.
