Role: Financial Planning and Budgeting (Office of VC)

Job Description :

Plaksha university is seeking a highly motivated individual interested in institutional building. This role offers a rare opportunity to collaborate with the Vice Chancellor and his leadership team to influence the university's strategic priorities. If you are passionate about institution building, adept at navigating policies, processes and communications, this role will allow you to help shape the future of the university.

Business and Financial Analysis :

- Collaborate with department heads to set budget targets and provide financial guidance to align departmental goals and budgetary requirements with the university's strategic plan and cashflow availability.

- Conduct cost-benefit analysis of major capital expenditures and university investments to ensure sustainable financial planning.

- Perform & present variance analysis by comparing actual financial performance with budget forecasts, identifying trends, and addressing variances.

- Analyze key financial and university metrics to provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

- Benchmark university performance in revenue, costs, and other financial areas against peer institutions.

- Develop comprehensive financial reports and forecasts to inform strategic decisions.

- Conduct financial modelling to evaluate potential new initiatives and their fiscal impact on the university.

- Support VC's office in strategy workshops and statutory meetings

Eligibility :

- Master's in Commerce or Business (M.Com or MBA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 3 - 5 years of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management
