Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a skilled Google Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in DevOps practices , backend programming , and cloud networking . This contract role is remote but requires full availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
You will be responsible for contributing to the development and deployment of cloud-native applications, ensuring infrastructure reliability, and implementing scalable backend solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Qualifications
Design, build, and maintain cloud-native backend systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GCP-native tools and third-party DevOps platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, etc.)
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform , with a focus on reusable and scalable modules
Experience with responsive design and backend / frontend development
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Requirements:
Proficiency in backend programming with Python, Go, or Node.js
Deep knowledge of Google Cloud services such as GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, BigQuery, VPC, Load Balancing, IAM
Proficiency in docker , GCP, AWS, bound, Application development
- Experience with azure, GitHub, SQLite,

• Extensive experience in JavaScript development, with a strong focus on React and Node.js
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
Good To have - knowledge of terraform and cloud solution architecture
