Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/Senior QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality gaming experiences across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in game QA methodologies, bug tracking, and test case creation, with a strong understanding of both functional and non-functional testing for game applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, producers, and fellow QA professionals to identify, document, and resolve issues, ensuring an optimal player experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning & Execution :

- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive QA project test plans, including functionality, performance, compatibility, usability, balance, art, audio, UI/UX, and regression testing.

- Define test coverage and prioritize test cases based on project scope and risk assessment.

- Conduct cross-platform testing (PC, mobile, console, and web-based games) to ensure consistent user experience.

Bug Management & Reporting :

- Identify, reproduce, and document issues with detailed Steps to Reproduce (STR), screenshots, or video captures using tools like JIRA.

- Collaborate with the development team to triage bugs and verify fixes before release.

- Maintain an updated bug database and track progress toward resolution.

Quality Analysis & Feedback :

- Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to improve gameplay, UI, accessibility, and player engagement.

- Suggest improvements to testing processes, automation coverage, and QA documentation.

- Assist production teams in reproducing complex issues for faster resolution.

Test Automation & Tools (Preferred) :

- Utilize automation tools to reduce manual testing workload where applicable.

- Explore and implement innovative QA processes to improve efficiency and reduce testing cycle time.

Collaboration & Mentoring :

- Work in close coordination with cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, and developers.

- Mentor and train junior QA engineers, guiding them in test strategy, bug reporting standards, and best practices.

- Escalate potential risks, blockers, or conflicts to the QA Lead or Project Manager with mitigation suggestions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 48 years in QA, with a strong focus on game testing across multiple platforms.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in software/game testing.

- Strong proficiency with QA tools : JIRA, TestRail (or similar), bug tracking systems.

- Solid understanding of test case, test suite, and test plan creation.

- Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and client-server communication for game backend testing.

- Competent gaming ability with knowledge of different game genres, mechanics, and player expectations.

- Strong general PC knowledge, including Windows OS, Android/iOS platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills in English.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience in multiplayer game testing and knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., WebSocket, Socket.IO).

- Familiarity with performance profiling tools for mobile and PC games.

- Basic understanding of automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Playwright) for functional testing.

- Exposure to Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins for automated build verification.
