Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Associate Group Head – Art, (Digital Graphic Design) to lead the art team efforts of our sports pod. This role demands a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of visual storytelling, an innovative approach to social media content, and a deep passion for sports, especially cricket. The ideal candidate will establish design excellence, strategic thinking, well versed with latest trends and prepared for the fast-paced grind of live sports coverage, including peak season activity.

Key Responsibilities:


1) Design Leadership:

  • Develop and implement visual design guidelines, ensuring consistent, high-quality outputs across all platforms and formats.
  • Need to have strong craft skills and ability to execute rich morphed graphics
  • Implement use of Ai tools to enhance design quality and efficiency
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and drive innovative creative strategies to keep the brand visually ahead of the curve.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for design-related presentations and discussions with clients.


2) Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Guide, mentor, and inspire the design team to achieve their creative potential.
  • Act as the design team's brand custodian, ensuring alignment with the brand’s identity and objectives.
  • Foster collaboration within the sports pod to deliver cohesive campaigns.


3) Client Interaction:

  • Present design concepts and strategies to clients, incorporating feedback effectively.
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients, providing insights and solutions tailored to the fast-evolving sports landscape.


4) Content Creation:

  • Conceptualize and execute compelling designs for various social media formats, including reels, posts, stories, and banners.
  • Innovate trending and engaging content ideas, leveraging the latest social media trends and tools.


5) Live Coverage and Season Readiness:

  • Be prepared to work extended hours during peak sports seasons and live game events, collaborating closely with the team on real-time coverage.
  • Maintain composure and deliver high-quality content in time-sensitive environments.


6) Passion for Sports:

  • Stay updated with trends and developments in cricket and other sports to infuse authenticity and relevance into designs.
  • Translate sports culture, moments, and stories into visually captivating content.


Requirements:

  • 6–10 years experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing work in sports-related projects.
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and 3D design is a plus.
  • Ability to use Ai technology for generating graphics
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their unique design requirements.
  • Familiarity with cricket and other sports, with the ability to translate sports moments into creative content.
  • Good communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Highly motivated individual, team-oriented, detail-driven, and able to perform under tight deadlines.
