Job Overview:

Aiprus is actively seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITAM Consultant to join our remote team. This role demands strong hands-on experience in the implementation, configuration, and management of IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform, encompassing both Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.

The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in core ServiceNow platform capabilities, CMDB management, and technical integration practices, coupled with a solid understanding of ITIL processes and governance frameworks.

This position is vital for delivering effective ITAM solutions and ensuring data integrity for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- ServiceNow Module Configuration & Customization: Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules with a primary focus on IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to align with client requirements and best practices.

- HAM & SAM Implementation and Support: Lead the technical implementation and provide ongoing support for Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules, optimizing processes for the complete asset lifecycle.

- System Integration: Develop, implement, and maintain robust integrations between the ServiceNow platform and various third-party tools and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.

- Data Management & Integrity: Manage activities related to data loading, transformation, and synchronization into ServiceNow, ensuring high levels of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all relevant systems.

- CMDB Development & Maintenance: Maintain, enhance, and govern the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring its structure and content are accurate and aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework. Develop and enforce CMDB standards.

- Policy and Governance Implementation: Define, implement, and technically enforce IT Asset Management policies, standards, and governance frameworks within ServiceNow to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and improve asset visibility and control.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal technical teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure ITAM solutions support broader organizational goals.

- ITIL Process Application: Apply working knowledge and practical understanding of ITIL principles and processes, particularly those pertaining to IT Asset Management and IT Service Management, to enhance service delivery and operational workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the IT Services and IT Consulting industry, with a significant focus on ServiceNow implementation roles.

- Proven strong hands-on experience specifically with the implementation and customization of ServiceNow ITAM modules (HAM and SAM).

- Demonstrated expertise and hands-on skills with ServiceNow CMDB, including understanding its architecture, strategies for population, and methods for ongoing maintenance and health.

- Proficiency in developing and managing integrations within ServiceNow using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Solid understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework and its practical application in designing and maintaining a healthy CMDB.

- Working knowledge and practical experience applying ITIL principles, especially within the context of ITAM and ITSM processes.

- Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setup, managing workload and priorities across potentially different time is a fully remote position. Candidates should have a reliable internet connection and be able to align their working hours primarily with a schedule that includes Sunday to Thursday, accommodating Central Time Zone business needs.
