Who Are We Looking For? (job summary) :

We are looking for an experienced hands-on architect to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development. You will see the "big picture" and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team. You will be responsible for the technical direction of projects, software structure, frameworks, and algorithms. You will be empowered to drive innovation by coming up with new and exciting ideas to creatively solve issues, as well as proactively look for opportunities to improve the design, interface, and architecture of our cloud based products.

Location : Indore, India

Primary Responsibilities :

- Define software architecture and provide clear communication with the team and outside stakeholders to ensure the design is being followed

- Design and build an architecture that is scalable, reliable, highly available and performant.

- Assist with tracking and managing product risks and identify ways to reduce or eliminate risk.

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Identify improvements for the architecture and develop a plan to implement them

- Provide technical guidance to the development team and be able to be hands on to help remove impediments.

- Ensure the product meets high quality standards by designing and architecting based on best practices and standards.

- Oversee and help with development of key architectural components

Requirements :

- 10+ years of hands on technical experience with enterprise software development

- 5+ years in a technical leadership role

- Prior experience working in cross-functional teams

- Experience with designing solutions based on multi-tier layered architectures and event driven architectures.

- Strong experience and understanding of the web domain architecture and experience building web based SAAS applications.

- Strong experience working with cloud technologies. AWS

- Cloudformation, EC2, Lambdas, S3, Networking (VPCs, security groups, route tables etc.), EKS, ECS.

- Prior experience working with Kubernetes based deployment stacks would be an advantage.

- Experience with JavaScript, Typescript and/or Ruby or other functional or object oriented languages.

- Experience with Node/React/Mongo and/or Rails frameworks

- Experience working with APIs, integrating, designing, developing of REST/SOAP/GraphQL (Preferred) APIs

- Experience with MongoDB schema design and querying mechanisms.

- Experience with mongo pipelines is an additional plus.

- Systems architecture and design skills and understanding of application security best practices (Familiarity with TOGAF principles is an additional plus).

- Overall understanding of infrastructure as code and cloud infrastructure and scaling mechanisms.
