Project Delivery Manager

Sportz Interactive is seeking a passionate project management specialist to join our Interactive Solutions team and help achieve the next leap in our organization's journey.

The Interactive Solutions business unit at Sportz Interactive provides fan engagement products geared towards Digital Transformation, such as Websites, Apps, CMS, Fan Loyalty & Rewards, Match Centres, and Gaming Solutions such as Fantasy Games, Quiz, Vote, Predictor, and Digital Collectables.

Job Title: Associate Manager.

Location: Mumbai, India.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Work with stakeholders to plan, allocate, and assign development tasks across multiple development teams.

- Collaborate with development teams to accurately estimate effort and identify dependencies to inform product backlog prioritization.

- Take direct project management responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of products, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.

- Develop and maintain core project documentation, including product vision, scope, and detailed business/customer requirements.

- Create and manage product development plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with cross-functional delivery teams.

- Take ownership of product testing and ensure high-quality delivery through rigorous validation and review processes.

- Lead and manage development teams by setting clear expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional development and resolving conflicts or blockers.

- Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and other stakeholders to maintain alignment on goals and deliverables.

- Monitor team capacity and resource allocation, making adjustments as needed to optimize productivity and project outcomes.

Who We're Looking For:

Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

- A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

Project Delivery Expertise: Proven track record of end-to-end project planning and execution-from defining scope and timelines to successful delivery, ensuring adherence to quality and budget constraints.

Client and Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage client relationships and engage key stakeholders effectively, with experience in expectation management, status communication, and handling escalations.

Process Improvement Mindset: Demonstrated initiative in identifying process gaps and implementing process improvements or delivery optimization strategies to improve speed, quality, or efficiency.

Reporting & Governance: Experience in preparing and analyzing key delivery reports such as project status reports, resource utilization dashboards, sprint progress, risk logs, and budget trackers.

Resource Planning & Utilization: Skilled in resource forecasting, bandwidth planning, and task allocation to optimize team productivity and avoid over/under-utilization.

Team Leadership & People Management: Strong background in leading cross-functional teams, conducting performance evaluations, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Tool Proficiency & Methodologies: Comfortable using project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or Trello.

- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong understanding of sprint planning and backlog prioritization.
