The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analytics, with a strong background in e-commerce, retail tech, or product-based startups. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools with a keen ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. You will be instrumental in analyzing client performance, understanding customer behavior, and driving business impact through data-driven Responsibilities : Data Analysis & Insight Generation : - Conduct deep-dive analysis into e-commerce metrics and customer funnel behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies.- Perform root cause analysis and hypothesis testing to understand the drivers behind key business metrics.- Transform raw data into compelling stories and visualizations, presenting insights to stakeholders across product, marketing, and client Execution & Tooling : - Utilize strong skills in SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets.- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data & Documentation : - Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and client teams to support their data needs and provide analytical guidance.- Maintain a high level of ownership over projects, proactively identifying and solving problems.- Create and maintain clean, comprehensive documentation and SOPs for analytical processes and Skills : Core Experience : - 3-6 years of experience in data analytics, with a preference for backgrounds in e-commerce, retail tech, or product-based startups.- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment with a direct impact on business Proficiency : - Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel, with a self-rated skill level of 7 out of 10 or higher in each.- Experience with at least one major BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio.- Proven skills in data visualization and telling compelling stories with Skills : - Expertise in root cause analysis, hypothesis testing, and anomaly detection.- A solid understanding of e-commerce metrics and customer funnel Skills : - Experience in organizations that have gone through Series A-C funding, with 20-150 employees.- Specific exposure to client performance analytics, product analytics, or marketing analytics.- Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods or machine learning concepts.- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
