Position : Senior DevOps & Automation Engineer / Architect

Role Overview :

We are seeking a deeply technical, hands-on Senior DevOps & Automation Engineer / Architect with a passion for building, implementing, and innovating automation and AI-powered solutions. This role is designed for engineers who want to remain close to the code and systems, focusing on architecture, technical delivery, and innovationnot program or functional management.

The ideal candidate will have expert-level skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD engineering, cloud-native DevOps, and AI/ML-driven automation, delivering scalable, self-service, and intelligent platforms that boost engineering productivity. You will own technical design and implementation, identifying opportunities for automation, modernizing toolchains, and integrating LLM and agentic AI into operations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. DevOps Engineering & Automation :

- Architect, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, web-based internal tools, and secure build/release automation.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible for environment provisioning and lifecycle management.

- Lead modernization of DevOps toolchains, replacing legacy systems with cloud-native, scalable, AI-augmented alternatives.

- Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to align DevOps tooling with business growth and future platform requirements.

- Design and implement self-service platforms that reduce manual effort, improve deployment speed, and enhance developer experience.

- Drive automation coverage across build, deployment, monitoring, and incident response workflows.

2. AI Adoption & Agentic Automation :

- Integrate AI and Agentic AI workflows into DevOps operations for predictive scaling, anomaly detection, and proactive remediation.

- Implement intelligent automation for observability alerts, incident triage, and root cause analysis.

- Partner with AI/ML teams to embed LLM frameworks into developer workflows, enhancing efficiency and reducing operational toil.

3. Observability & Operational Intelligence :

- Integrate with Datadog, Dynatrace, Elastic, or OpenTelemetry to ensure full-stack observability and traceability.

- Create real-time dashboards and analytics for system health, build performance, and automation ROI tracking.

- Establish metrics-driven feedback loops for continuous improvement in system resilience and developer productivity.

Qualifications :

Required :

- 14+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.

- Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automation scripting, and container orchestration.

- Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-native environments.

- Strong development/scripting skills in Python, Go, and Bash.

- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, modern development workflows, and software delivery best practices.

- Track record of delivering end-to-end automation solutions that improved reliability and reduced manual effort.

Preferred :

- Experience with LLM-based solutions and AI/ML integration in DevOps or operational workflows.

- Familiarity with security automation, compliance-as-code, and zero-trust architectures.

- Previous leadership in toolchain modernization and developer productivity initiatives.
