Role OverviewWe are looking for apassionate, energetic, and multi-talented Dance Teacherwho can lead dance sessions for preschool and primary children while also contributing tomusic, visual arts, and cultural activities . The ideal candidate iscreative, patient, child-friendly, and enthusiastic , with the ability to make every class fun, engaging, and educational. Key ResponsibilitiesDance & MovementConduct regular dance classes for children fromToddler to Grade 5 . Plan age-appropriate choreography for school events, assemblies, celebrations, and annual performances. Teach a variety of dance forms such as Creative movement Bollywood Folk dance Contemporary & freestyle Creative Arts Contribution(Preferred but not mandatory) Supportmusic classes —basic rhythm, singing, or instrument activities. Assist inart and craft sessions —drawing, painting, clay modeling, and themed activities. Lead activity days, theme celebrations, cultural programs, and parent engagement events. Classroom ManagementMaintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for young learners. Ensure all children feel confident and motivated during activities. Coordinate with class teachers for integrated learning themes. School EventsPrepare students for performances during: Annual Day Independence Day Diwali, Holi & other cultural festivals Special assemblies Community events Professional CollaborationWork closely with the Activity Centre team. Contribute creative ideas to enhance the school's performing arts offerings. Participate in curriculum planning and training sessions. Qualifications & SkillsDegree or certification in Dance/Performing Arts (preferred). Strong background in dance; ability to teach multiple styles. Additional talent inmusic, drawing, drama, or craftis a major advantage. Excellent communication skills and child-friendly personality. Ability to manage young learners with patience and warmth. Passion for holistic education and performing arts.
