Job Title: ServiceNow Platform Solution Architect

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai/Pune/Kochi/Trivandrum/Noida

Job Summary:

The ServiceNow Platform Solution Architect is responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of comprehensive ServiceNow solutions that meet the strategic and operational needs of the organization. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and ensuring the effective integration and performance of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design & Strategy:

  1. Develop and maintain the overall architecture and design of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
  2. Define and document best practices, governance policies, and architectural standards for ServiceNow implementations.
  3. Lead the architectural design sessions, focusing on high-impact, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Solution Implementation:

  1. Lead and guide the technical implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including configuration, customization, integration, and orchestration.
  2. Ensure that all implemented solutions are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  3. Oversee the development of ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and other platform customizations.

Platform Management:

  1. Ensure the stability and performance of the ServiceNow platform by monitoring Health Scan feedback and optimizing the system regularly.
  2. Collaborate with the IT operations team to manage the platform’s health, including upgrades, patches, Data Archival, Encryption etc.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the ServiceNow platform and its integrations.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external partners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  2. Provide expert advice on the capabilities and limitations of the ServiceNow platform, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
  3. Act as a technical advisor and mentor to the ServiceNow development and administration teams.

Continuous Improvement:

  1. Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and industry trends to continually improve and innovate the platform.
  2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ServiceNow implementations.
  3. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization using ServiceNow and related technologies.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow solution architecture and platform implementation.
  • Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules like ITSM, SIR, VR, IRM.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO, and third-party tools.

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including architecture, data model, and key modules.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they are implemented in ServiceNow.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience in guiding business analyst, development and QA teams.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITSM / SIR / VR / IRM preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certification preferred.
