Job Description:

FutureIK Technologies is seeking an experienced Windows Application Developer for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing robust Windows applications and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with socket.io, media playback, API connections, media downloading, and seamless media transitions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality applications that will run on Windows OS devices, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience. This role requires the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain Windows applications tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
  • Implement socket programming for real-time communication and data transfer.
  • Handle media playback tasks, including video, image, live stream, and web browser integrations.
  • Integrate and manage API connections for seamless data exchange between applications.
  • Develop and implement media downloading functionalities.
  • Ensure smooth and seamless media transitions within the applications.
  • Debug and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions on time.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and systems developed.
  • Adhere to best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.


Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows Application Development.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and Visual Studio.
  • Extensive experience with socket programming.
  • Proven experience in media playback development (video, image, live stream, web browser, etc.).
  • Proficiency in API integration and management.
  • Experience in media downloading and management.
  • Skilled in creating seamless media transitions.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS architecture and development tools.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Deadline-Driven: Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines and deliver high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DirectShow, Media Foundation, or similar multimedia frameworks.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and asynchronous programming.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for Windows applications.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Previous experience working in a full-time role.
