Financial Consolidation & Reporting


1. Financial Consolidation:

- Manage the financial consolidation process for multiple legal entities in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GAAP, or local accounting standards.

- Oversee intercompany eliminations, minority interests, and ensure accuracy in all consolidation adjustments.

- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Coordinate with global finance teams to collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data from various business units.

2. Financial Reporting:

- Oversee the preparation of periodic management reports, including variance analysis, budget vs actuals, and financial performance insights.

- Ensure compliance with external financial reporting requirements, including statutory filings, tax filings, and regulatory reports.

- Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations based on consolidated financial data.

3. SAP System Optimization:

- Leverage SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC, and SAP FICO expertise to streamline the consolidation and reporting process.

- Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP modules for financial consolidation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the financial close process.

- Collaborate with the IT and SAP support teams to resolve system issues, drive upgrades, and configure system enhancements related to financial reporting.

- Drive the automation of reporting and consolidation processes, reducing manual intervention and ensuring real-time reporting capabilities.

4. Compliance and Controls:

- Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws, Ind AS, IFRS, and other regulatory standards relevant to financial consolidation.

- Establish and maintain internal control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of consolidated financial information.

- Prepare and support audit processes, liaising with external and internal auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations related to consolidated financial reports.

- Ensure that consolidation processes adhere to SOX or other internal control frameworks, where applicable.

5. Strategic Financial Planning:

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on consolidated financial data to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.

- Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement in financial consolidation and reporting processes, including automation and system enhancements.

- Work closely with the CFO and leadership team to support the organization's broader financial goals.
