Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to accurately input and maintain large volumes of information into our database systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to data integrity. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of our data, which supports various critical business functions.

Core Responsibilities

• Accurately input data from various sources (e.g., paper documents, electronic files, online forms) into the company database and computer systems.

• Verify and correct data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain data integrity by adhering to established data entry procedures and quality standards.

• Organize and file documents after data entry.

• Generate reports and summaries as needed.

• Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Identify and report any data entry errors or inconsistencies.

• Stay updated on new data entry procedures and software.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field

Technical Skills and Experience

Software Proficiency:

• Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Proficiency in using data entry software and database systems.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Software Knowledge:

• MS Office

Experience:

• 0-3 years of experience in data entry or similar roles.

Psychosocial Skills /Human Skills/Behavioural Skills

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion.

• Technical understanding of clean energy business processes

• Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders.

• Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
