Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).- Build, optimise, and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and external systems.- Implement efficient database models and queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).- Collaborate with DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and optimisation in the AWS environment.- Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and scalability across services.- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration practices.- Work closely with cross-functional teams, Product, Frontend, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.- Contribute to the design of microservices architecture and backend : - 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and authentication protocols (OAuth2 JWT).- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.- Familiarity with microservices architecture, message queues (e. g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and caching mechanisms.- Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.- Experience working in Agile environments with Git-based version control.- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail and performance.Preferred Skills (Good to Have) : - Exposure to AWS Cloud Services (ECS, Lambda, S3 CloudWatch).- Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery).- Basic understanding of AI/ML model integration in production.- Experience in the FinTech or Banking domain is a plus.
