Fieldglass VMS Product QA Tester

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedFieldglass VMS Product QA Testerto join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will havedeep expertise in SAP Fieldglass or other leading Vendor Management Systems (VMS) , combined with advancedautomation and regression testing skills . This role involves ensuring product quality, performance, and compliance for large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS implementations. Experience withAI-driven test automation frameworks ,API-level testing , andcomplex workflow validationsis highly desirable. You will work closely withproduct managers, developers, solution consultants, and implementation teamsto design, execute, and optimize test strategies that ensure exceptional quality in every VMS product release.Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Assurance & Testing Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensivetest plans, test cases, and test scriptsbased on business and functional requirements. Performfunctional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testingfor Fieldglass modules (e.g., Job Postings, Timesheets, Invoicing, Supplier Management, Compliance). Validateend-to-end contingent workforce workflows , including requisition creation, supplier submissions, onboarding, timesheets, and payment cycles. Ensure platform integrity acrossmulti-tenant environmentswith different configurations and user roles. Conductcross-browser and device testingto ensure consistent user experiences. 2. Automation Engineering Design and implementautomated test suitesfor regression and smoke testing using tools such asSelenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright . Developdata-driven and API-level automated tests(using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Katalon). Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps ) for continuous testing. Optimize test automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability. LeverageAI-based test automation tools(e.g.,Testim, Mabl, Functionize, Applitools, Katalon AI ) to accelerate regression coverage and anomaly detection. 3. AI & Intelligent Testing (Preferred / Advanced) Explore and integrateAI and ML-based testing methodologies , including predictive analytics for defect detection and test case prioritization. UseAI-assisted toolsto identify UI changes, optimize regression coverage, and improve test accuracy. Participate in proof-of-concept evaluations of emergingAI testing platformsand frameworks. 4. VMS Domain Expertise Apply deep understanding ofVMS business processesincluding contingent labor workflows, rate management, compliance rules, and supplier engagement. Testcomplex approval chains, integrations, and role hierarchiesbetween clients, MSPs, suppliers, and contingent workers. Validatedata integrity across integrationswith ERP, HRIS, and finance systems such asWorkday, SAP, Oracle, Coupa , and payroll providers. Verify compliance with globaldata privacy and security standards (GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001)within the VMS ecosystem. 5. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely withProduct Management and Developmentteams to review requirements, acceptance criteria, and design specifications. Collaborate withImplementation and Customer Successteams to replicate production issues and ensure defect-free releases. Document, track, and manage defects usingJIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar bug tracking systems . ProvideQA sign-offfor product releases, ensuring all acceptance criteria and test coverage requirements are met. Participate inscrum ceremonies(standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) within an Agile environment.Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills 5–8 years of QA experiencein enterprise SaaS or VMS environments (preferablySAP Fieldglass , Beeline, or similar platforms). Strong expertise inmanual and automated testingof complex multi-tenant systems. Hands-on experience with automation tools: UI:Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG API:Postman, RestAssured, Katalon, SoapUI CI/CD:Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.,Python, Java, or JavaScript ) for automation framework customization. Understanding ofSQL and data validationfor backend testing. Familiarity withAI-powered testing toolssuch asTestim, Mabl, Functionize, or Applitools . Experience incloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) . Domain Knowledge In-depth understanding ofVMS processes , including contingent workforce lifecycle, rate cards, compliance checks, timesheet approvals, and invoicing workflows. Strong grasp ofmulti-currency, multi-language , andglobal deployment scenariosin SaaS systems. Exposure toERP/HRIS integrations(SAP, Workday, Oracle) andSSO configurations . Knowledge ofGDPR and data protection requirements . Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong documentation and communication skills — able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach to testing. Ability to multitask in afast-paced Agile environmentand manage tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications Certification inISTQB, Certified Software Tester (CSTE) , or equivalent. Experience working inAgile/Scrum environments . Exposure toperformance testingtools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
