Qualification: • Chartered Accountant • 5+ years’ experience  Core responsibilities * Financial strategy: Create and put into action financial plans that help the university achieve its long-term objectives. * Budget and reporting: Manage the yearly budget's creation and provide precise financial predictions and statements. * Compliance: Verify that the university abides by all applicable financial laws, rules, and policies. * Cash flow and investments: Control the institution's overall financial risk as well as cash flow and investments. * Oversight: oversee the finance division, manage the finance staff, and direct the finance team to maximize productivity. * Strategic advice: Give the executive team and leadership of the university financial analysis and strategic recommendations. * External relations: Communicate with banks, government agencies, auditors, and other external stakeholders. * Project management: Oversee the budget for large-scale initiatives like building construction or renovation.
