JOB PURPOSE : To provide senior data security management professionalism, ensuring Indias data assets are governed, secured, and leveraged to drive operational efficiency, compliance, and competitive advantage through scalable data strategies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Risk Assessment : Conduct data security and privacy protection risk assessments for the business, provide improvement suggestions, and guide the business team in implementing corrective measures.- Policy & Process : Improve the policies and processes of data security and privacy protection, integrate compliance requirements into business processes, and ensure continuous and effective implementation.- Case Study : Interpret and analyze Indian data security and privacy protection laws, regulations, and enforcement cases, and conduct special research. Collect the latest industry and regulatory dynamics to help business departments meet compliance requirements.- Tool Optimization : Promote the capabilities of data security and privacy protection tools, collect and propose optimization requirements, follow up on closed-loop solutions, and enhance the efficiency of compliance support.- Training & Communication : Conduct data security and privacy protection training and be responsible for coordinating and handling data subject rights exercise requests.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS : - Measurable Deliverables- Data Security and Compliance Protection Incident Quantity and Severity.- Comprehensiveness and Correctness of Risk Identification- Data Subjects' Rights, Processing Time, and Quantity of Customer Complaints.QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE : Minimum Qualifications : Educational Background & Experience : Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years of work experience in data security and privacy protection.Regulatory & Technical Knowledge : - Familiar with relevant laws and regulations such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and practical guidelines.- Understanding of fundamental technical principles, including Privacy by Design and Default, data security, and data lifecycle management.Technical Expertise : Professional knowledge and practical experience in Data storage in servers and databases, encryption technologies, permission control levels, and big data management.Soft Skills & Attributes : - Integrity, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility.- Self-motivated with excellent teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications : - Work experience in multinational corporations (e.g., Google, Meta, Apple) or other international internet giants.- Holding professional certifications such as AIGP, CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT.Proficient in English.Notice Period : - 30- 60 days NP (ref:hirist.tech)
