Financial Analyst – Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, creating reports, forecasting trends, and supporting business decision-making. This role works closely with finance, accounting, and leadership teams to ensure accurate budgeting, planning, and financial performance tracking.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Analysis & ReportingAnalyze financial statements, cash flow, and performance metrics.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Monitor key financial indicators and provide insights to management.2. Budgeting & ForecastingAssist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts.Track budget variances and provide explanations for deviations.Support scenario planning and financial modeling.3. Data Modeling & InsightsBuild and maintain financial models (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).Interpret data trends and provide recommendations for business improvement.Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses.4. Business SupportCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs.Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, investments, and projects.Review financial performance of departments and products.5. Compliance & DocumentationEnsure financial practices comply with GAAP and company policies.Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate and organized financial records.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros preferred).Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools.Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
