We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join the Finance team in our newly formed entity, in Hyderabad.


Assistant Controller, Accounting & Fiscal - India:

You will be the owner of the preparation, review, and processing of journal entries and will be responsible for maintaining ledger and fiscal declarations for our India entity (~50 employees onshore entity).

With a high level of rigor and strong ability to work in a changing environment, you also have the ability to help create processes in a new entity in the context of structuring a Finance COE in India for Ennov.



Job Duties:

  • Run the fiscal declarations process in a regulatory compliant manner (VAT, Income Tax, Day to Day Operational Taxes)
  • Review payroll ledger transactions ensuring local statutory accounting compliance, and ensuring analytical split between product lines
  • Review day-to-day transactions, and perform bank payments and bank reconciliations
  • Processing office related expenditures, expenses & credit cards spent
  • Working with the India Controller to ensure month end, quarter end and year end are completed in a timely manner for the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Working capital preparation for the ET business
  • Support implementation of Group ERP Oracle Net Suite
  • Assisting India controller with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, statements, and ad hoc projects, such as system migration and Global Pay ADP Implementation
  • Conducting best practices & process improvement to stabilize new processes and then reduce cycle time with target to close in 4 days.
  • Ensuring Compliance with local, statutory requirements in India, and Company policies


Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • The applicant must be a Certified Accountant in India.
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or Related Field or Equivalent Work Experience.
  • Experience of managing accounting for an SME entity, or assisting in a bigger entity:
  • Experience in Balance Sheet Account Preparation

  • --- Cash Management
  • Oracle Net Suite experience an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite a must.
