The company is known for delivering high-performance software solutions for consumer electronics, automotive, and next-gen devices.Job DescriptionDevelop and enhance audio drivers and multimedia components for embedded Linux platformsWork on Linux kernel modules, ALSA layer, and device driver architectureImplement and optimize audio codec processing (MPEG-1, MPEG-2 audio, etc.)Integrate and work with GStreamer / FFmpeg / OpenMAX IL frameworksDebug and resolve complex hardware–software interaction issuesWork closely with hardware, platform, and QA teams for feature deliveryOptimize performance, memory usage, and latency in audio/video pipelinesMandatory Skills✔ 4+ years of experience in Audio driver or Multimedia development ✔ Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems ✔ Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, ALSA, device drivers ✔ Good understanding of Audio codecs (MPEG-1, MPEG-2 audio) ✔ Familiarity with GStreamer, FFmpeg, OpenMAX IL or similar frameworks ✔ Experience with debugging tools like JTAG, gdb, perf ✔ Strong understanding of memory management, DMA, buffer handling in multimedia pipelinesImportant Note (Please Read Before Applying)🚫 Do NOT apply if:You have less than 3 years or more than 6 years of experienceYou do not have hands-on experience in audio drivers / multimedia developmentYou lack Linux kernel / ALSA exposureYou cannot join within 15 daysYou are from non-embedded / non-multimedia backgrounds (e.g., purely application, testing, support)✅ Apply ONLY if you meet ALL criteria above.
