Job SummaryThe Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and optimizing financial performance. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in accounts receivable and payable, wages, GST, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management within fast-paced industries and the ability to manage a team effectively while reporting directly to the CEO.Industry: Facility ManagementLocation: Hyderabad, India Reports to: CEO Team Size: 8-10 direct reportsKey Responsibilities- Lead and manage the finance team of 8-10 professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing environment.- Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and payable (AP) processes, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.- Manage payroll and wages administration, ensuring compliance with labor laws, accurate calculations, and efficient disbursement.- Handle GST compliance, including filings, audits, and optimizations to minimize liabilities and ensure adherence to all tax regulations.- Ensure overall regulatory compliance, including statutory audits, financial reporting, and adherence to Indian accounting standards (Ind-AS/GAAP).- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures to support business growth and profitability.- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership on financial planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making.- Monitor cash flow, financial health, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights and recommendations.- Drive process improvements in financial systems and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as required.Qualifications and Experience- Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.- Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.- Industry Preference: Candidates from FMCG, retail, consumer durables, or facility management sectors are highly preferred.Technical Skills: - Expert knowledge of accounts receivable and payable management.- Proficiency in wages and payroll systems.- In-depth expertise in GST, taxation, and compliance frameworks.- Strong understanding of financial software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP or Oracle) and MS Excel.
