The role involves working closely with consultants, ensuring high standards of patient care, clinical documentation, and adherence to hospital protocols. Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and outpatient care under the supervision of the Consultant Gynecologists. Assist in managing Labour Room activities, including normal deliveries and emergency obstetric care. Support in gynecological procedures and surgeries as assigned. Attend to obstetric and gynecological emergencies promptly and effectively. Perform patient assessments, clinical examinations, and maintain accurate medical records. Participate in patient rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary meetings. Ensure pre-operative and post-operative care as per clinical protocol. Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and clinical hygiene. Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for seamless patient care. Participate in academic activities, CMEs, and departmental training sessions. Adhere to hospital policies, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications & Skills: MD/MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology from a recognized institution (mandatory). 0–3 years of post-qualification clinical experience preferred (freshers may also apply). Strong clinical knowledge with good decision-making ability. Ability to handle obstetric emergencies confidently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
