Description :- Manage and maintain a robust Linux server infrastructure (Red Hat-based systems).- Install, configure, and maintain key services like Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and network configurations (FTP/SFTP, host files, SSL certificates, load balancers).- Implement system hardening measures and proactively monitor system performance and health.- Develop and utilize shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.- Administer and troubleshoot Apache Tomcat deployments, collaborating with developers to ensure smooth application operation.- Configure and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, adhering to security best practices and compliance standards.- Proactively monitor system and network performance, identifying and resolving potential issues to optimize resource utilization.- Implement and enforce robust security policies to safeguard the IT infrastructure against evolving threats.- Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on various IT projects.- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.- Continuously explore and implement new tools and technologies to streamline infrastructure management.Technical Skills (Must-Have) :- 8+ years of experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat-based systems).- Expertise in server configuration, network protocols (MPLS, VPN), and network security principles.- Experience with Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and common network services (FTP/SFTP, load balancing).- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash or Python) for automation.- Strong understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery principles.Technical Skills (Good to Have) :- Certifications in Linux administration (i., RHCSA, RHCE) and networking (i., CCNP, CCIE).- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
