Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in embedded systems development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in STM32 and ARM-based processors, along with hands-on expertise in Embedded Linux and RTOS. This role will focus on developing our wireless surveillance camera, integrating both hardware and software systems to create a seamless surveillance solution.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software for surveillance devices, from initial requirements to production deployment.
- Develop, code, test, and debug system software, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
- Review code, optimize system efficiency, and ensure scalability of system resources.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and system optimization.
- Provide post-production support, addressing any technical issues and optimizing product performance.
- Conduct risk analysis, system optimization, and continuous system improvement for power efficiency and memory usage.
- Document requirements, design specifications, and maintenance logs to support high-quality development and product lifecycle management.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-4 years in embedded systems with proven development experience in STM32 and ARM-based processors.
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive hands-on expertise in Embedded Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Embedded C for software development.
- Strong understanding of system optimization, memory management, and power consumption techniques.
- Knowledge of IP protocols, hardware subsystems, and schematic reading.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in software configuration management, defect tracking, and peer review.
- Strong documentation skills for requirements, design, and testing.
- Ability to conduct research and collaborate across cross-functional teams to enhance product performance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of direct embedded systems experience, with expertise in firmware development, real-time operating systems, and system optimization.
