We’re Hiring | Senior Structural Engineer – Structural Production Engineering (Global Service Centre) ⚙️Drydocks World – Dubai is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering Division based at our Global Service Centre in Navi Mumbai.This role will lead structural production engineering projects for marine and offshore (FPSO / platform) new build and conversion projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed efficiently, accurately, and within budget — while driving continuous improvement in quality and productivity.Location: Navi Mumbai – GhansoliDesignation: Senior Engineer – Structural Production EngineeringReporting To: GSC Structural Assistant ManagerKey Responsibilities:✅ Lead and coordinate structural production engineering activities with DDW Dubai teams.✅ Prepare project deliverables, man-hour estimates, and schedules for structural projects.✅ Oversee project execution, quality, and safety in line with company standards.✅ Review and approve structural designs, materials, and technical documents (DNV, ABS, LR, API, NORSOK).✅ Collaborate with procurement, production, and PMT teams to ensure smooth material and design flow.✅ Drive continuous improvement in processes, cost, and productivity.✅ Mentor and guide team members to ensure engineering excellence.Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture / Mechanical / Structural Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 8 years of experience in shipbuilding, marine, oil & gas, or offshore industries.Strong knowledge of hull structures, offshore platforms, and FPSO design/integration.Proficient in Tekla Structures, Cadmatic, and AutoCAD.Familiar with classification and design codes: DNV, ABS, LR, NORSOK, API, BS, EN.Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.Interested candidates can share their profiles at: ankita.batham@drydocks.gov.ae
