About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual and/or automation testing and a strong background in NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) or HFC (Housing Finance Company) applications. The role involves ensuring the quality, security, and compliance of financial applications such as loan origination systems, customer onboarding, payment gateways, and related fintech platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual & automation).

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

- Validate loan workflows (disbursement, EMI, repayments, collections, closures).

- Test APIs, web services, and mobile applications for performance and reliability.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to NBFC/HFC (e.g., KYC, DPDP).

- Document and report bugs, track defect resolution with development teams.

- Contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with product, business, and IT teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Must-Have Skills

- 3 - 5 years of QA/testing experience.

- 12 years of NBFC/HFC domain experience (loan origination, housing finance, customer portals, payment systems, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.

- Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).

- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).

- Exposure to SQL queries for database validation.
